A First Season of Success for the Lady Beavers- Brandon Jackson
The Lady Beavers wrapped up their season with a 6-10-1 record, marking the fourth-highest winning percentage in school history. The team also scored 35 goals — the second-most in program history, just one shy of the record (36).
This season was truly one of growth and determination. With 21 freshmen and 4 sophomores, our young group showed incredible heart and resilience, competing hard in every match. Considering that this team was assembled in just four months (January–April), their progress and performance were remarkable.
We started the season a bit slow in August, found our rhythm during a strong September, and admittedly ran out of gas toward the end of October. Still, the experience and lessons learned will serve us well moving forward.
I’m very excited for the future of Pratt Women’s Soccer. Our core group is expected to return for their sophomore year, and we already have five verbal commitments for Fall 2026. As our freshmen grow into leadership roles, I believe we’ll continue building something special here.
This year was also one of coaching growth for me personally, as I gained valuable experience learning how competitive the Jayhawk Conference is and what it takes to win in the conference. I’m proud of this team and eager to see what the future holds for the Lady Beavers.
