The Beaver Wrestling Team continued their season at the Cougar Open in Great Bend, Kansas at the Great Bend Athletic Center on December 14th. 

The Beavers had 18 Individuals competing, with 17 Placements.

At 125 lbs., Zane Donley finished 1^st Place with a win over teammate Gabe Sherrell. Keaton Rottinghaus finished with 5^th place.

At 133 lbs., Matt Long dominated his way to a 1^st Place finish.

At 141 lbs., Jameal Agnew finished with 1^st Place.

At 149 lbs., Dustin Loughrie took 5^th Place.

At 157 lbs., Jacob Goodwin Technical Falled his way to a championship.

At 165 lbs., Blake Winsor defeated teammate Zach Wessley in the championship.

At 174 lbs., Trystian Juarez battled to a 2^nd Place finish. Easton McLain took home 5^th Place.

At 184 lbs., Drew Withington pinned his way to a 1^st place finish.

At 197 lbs., Preston Hagel took 1^st Place, with all 1^st period pins.

At 285 lbs., it was all Beavers. Sebastian Lopez took 1^st Place. Corbin Puga took 2^nd Place, and Marcel Gonzalez took 3^rd Place. 

The Beavers will continue their season on January 4th where they will compete at the Jet Open hosted by Newman University in Wichita, Kansas at Fugate Gymnasium.
