Pratt, Kan. - The No. nine ranked Pratt Community College wrestling team is back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at home against Colby Community College and the No. 14 ranked Cowley College Tigers. The Beavers sit at 5-0 currently on the season and with two wins in their home tri-dual they would clinch their fifth straight KJCCC championship.
The Trojans of Colby Community College enter the dual 0-5 in the conference dual season with their closest loss coming against Barton Community College with a 24-27. The team's only dual win of the season came against Otero Junior College 25-24 back on December 19.
For the Tigers of Cowley College, they are currently sitting in fourth place in the KJCCC standings with a record of 3-2 in conference duals with their most recent victory coming against the No. 22 ranked Cloud County Community College T-Birds 28-18 on January 29. Evan Rodriguez for the Tigers is currently ranked No. one in the 141-pound weight class.
The Trojans and Tigers will dual first at 4:00 p.m. with the Beavers then dueling Colby at 5:30 p.m. with the main event getting underway at 7:00 p.m. with the Beavers wrestling the No. 14 ranked Cowley Tigers.
