The Pratt Community College Beavers wrapped up their 2025-26 Jayhawk Conference schedule on Saturday afternoon, falling to a tough opponent in a 75-34 final at Hutchinson Sports Arena.
Despite the challenging result, the Beavers showed moments of effort across the 40 minutes of play. Leading scorer contributions came from several players battling through a difficult shooting day, as the team finished 12-of-52 from the field (23.1%) overall.
Amaya Pierre-Jerome led all Beaver scorers with 12 points, going 4-8 from behind the 3 point arc. Kalani Brock finished with 8 points on 4-of-9 shooting. Polla Balint added 4 points.
The Beavers grabbed 25 rebounds as a team, with strong individual efforts including 6 rebounds from Polla Balint and additional boards from multiple players in the frontcourt rotation. Turnovers proved costly, as Pratt committed 19 miscues leading to transition opportunities for the Blue Dragons.
Defensively, the team recorded 5 steals and showed hustle with blocks and deflections, but struggled to contain the home team's pace and interior scoring.
This contest marked the final game of conference play for the Beavers, who now turn their attention to the postseason. Pratt will await the conclusion of the regular season on Wednesday evening to learn their seeding and matchup in the upcoming Region 6 Tournament.
The team remains focused on preparation and improvement as they gear up for the final stretch of the 2025-26 campaign.
