The Beavers struggled to find an early rhythm and were unable to recover after a slow start, despite a strong push late in the game.

Kalani Brock finished with 8 points and 6 rebounds before fouling out with just over eight minutes remaining. Polla Balint led the Beavers offensively, scoring a team-high 12 points. Breanna Reeves provided an important spark in the fourth quarter, making an impact in limited minutes with 5 rebounds and 2 steals.

The fourth quarter proved to be the Beavers' best stretch of the game, as they posted their highest scoring output of the night with 17 points. However, the early deficit proved too much to overcome, and the Beavers were never able to swing the momentum fully back in their favor.

The team will have this coming Saturday off before returning to action a week from tonight in Goodland, Kansas, where they will face the Tigers of Fort Hays Tech Northwest.
