WBB Falls to Coffeyville at Home- Cameron Cox
Pratt, KS-Jan 10th, 2026] - Women's Basketball had a matchup against Coffeyville for a home conference game. The Beavers would fall behind early and never recover, losing 74-35.
Game Recap:
Pratt came out slow early, struggling to keep up with Coffeyville's up-tempo offense. The Beavers were struggling on the offense and defenseive side of the court falling behind at the end of the first quarter 18-7. The Beavers offense stayed cold in the second quarter with the only bright spot in the first half being Daniella Zamora who had all 8 of Pratt's second quarter points. The Beavers trailed at halftime 35-15.
The third quarter proved to be no better for the Beavers as they would score just 7 points for the entire quarter. Meanwhile Coffeyville had begun an onslaught scoring 21 in the third quarter increasing their lead to 40 points.
The game never got within striking distance as the Beavers had their most productive quarter in the fourth but never came close to making the game close. The Beavers fell to Coffeyville 74-35 and look to get back and regroup this wednesday against Hutchison Community College.
