Pratt, Kan. - Tavares Duckett has officially qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Duckett ran a 10.29 in the 100m dash. This is his first time qualifying for NJCAA nationals. He is the first Beaver to qualify for nationals. He qualified at the Dean Pryor Invite, hosted in Coffeyville, Kan. His time was the highlight of the day for his team.
Duckett is a freshman transfer that joined the Beavers in January. He is already having an impact, and the PCC community is excited to see what other great things he has in store over the rest of this season and next year!
You can catch him and the rest of his teammates in action again soon! They will travel to compete in the Kirk Baptiste Spring Break Invitational on March 20 in Houston, TX.
