A Season of Learning for Men’s Soccer - Cameron Cox
The Pratt Men’s Soccer season got off to a great start kicking off the season with 4 straight wins. After the great start to the season Pratt went 0-4-1 in their next five games. Coach says the guys lost concentration and were playing in close games but could not finish properly. Pratt would finish the season with just two more wins after those first 4 to start the season finishing with a final record of 6-8-2.
Pratt returns an elite group of freshmen going into next season Freddie Fenton, Holly Bates and Jacob Ashley-Brown all were pointed out to me by Coach as freshmen who will grow and use this season as a learning experience. Pratt Men’s Soccer is focused now on recruiting for next season and according to the coaching staff has been very competitive for top players.
This season was the only season in the last 10 years Pratt has missed the postseason however it came down to the very last game. Pratt Men’s Soccer will use the 2025 season to grow and bounce back stronger than ever. Coach's message to the returning freshmen is “They know what work needs to be done”.
