[Pratt, KS-Feb 11th, 2026] - Men's Basketball was at home against Cowley for a late season conference game. The Beavers were searching for their fourth conference win, currently on a four game losing streak. The Beavers would play a competitive game in the second half on Wednesday night but would start ice cold in the first half falling to Cowley 81-61. 

Game Recap: 

Pratt (6-16), (3-14) started off freezing cold with Cowley (16-8), (11-7) dominating the game from the jump. Cowley was dominating the game offensively and defensively making it a 18-4 game after the first timeout. 

The following four minutes saw Cowley control the game extending their lead to 25-7. The Beavers struggled to find a way to slow down the Tigers on offense and at the same time went cold from the field. The damage would persist as the Beavers fell behind by 16 points 36-20. The Tigers offensive onslaught would continue into half with the Cowley leading at half 41-24

The second half saw the Tigers narrowly outscore the Beavers 40-37 however the  first half lead was too big of a deficit for the Beavers to come within striking distance. 

The Beavers will be back in action on the road this Saturday to take on Dodge City.
