Vaughn has 18 in setback at Seward - Cameron Cox
[Seward, KS-Feb 4th, 2026] - Men's Basketball was on the road against Seward for a late season conference game. The Beavers were searching for their fourth conference win, currently on a two game losing streak. The Beavers would play a competitive game in the second half on Wednesday night but would start ice cold in the first half falling to Seward 84-62.
Game Recap:
Pratt (6-16), (3-14) started off trading baskets with Seward (16-7), (11-6) being tied early at 10-10. Seward pulled away narrowly making it a 19-16 game early on with Seward leading.
The following eight minutes saw Seward dominate the game jumping out to a 33-16 lead. The Beavers struggled to find a way to slow down the Saints on offense and at the same time went cold from the field. The damage would persist as the Beavers fell behind by 20 points 38-18. The Saint's offensive onslaught would continue into half with the Seward leading at half 50-23
The second half saw the Beavers outscore Seward 39-34 however the 50-23 first half lead was too big of a deficit for the Beavers to recover from.
The Beavers will be back in action at home this saturday to take on Barton.
