Kane Posts Double-Double in Loss to Indy - Cameron Cox

[Pratt, KS-Jan 31st, 2026] - Men's Basketball was at home against Indy for a late season conference game. The Beavers were searching for their fourth conference win coming off of a loss on Wednesday. The Beavers would play an ultra competitive game in the second half on Saturday evening but the cold start in the first half would prove to be too much as they fell to Indy 87-75. 

Game Recap: 

Pratt (6-15), (3-13) started off the game going back and forth with Indy (15-6), (11-4) gaining an early 11-8 lead. Indy would answer with a few buckets of their own making it a 20-11 game early on. The Beavers answered with a quick run to narrow the Indy lead to just 4 points 20-16. 

The following three minutes saw Indy take over the game jumping out to a 29-19 lead early. The Pirates kept extending their led with turnovers being an issue for the Beavers. The damage would persist as the Beavers fell behind by 12 points 40-28 at the break. 

The second half saw the Beavers start cold as the Pirates held a 48-35 lead at the first media timeout. Pratt would trade shots back and forth with the Pirates for the whole second half however the 40-28 first half lead was  a deficit for the Beavers never recovered from. The Beavers would go on to lose 87-75 despite a second half comeback effort.
