The Beavers season comes to an end at the hands of Cloud 44-76.

Scoring woes in the third quarter proved too much for the Beavers as PCC drops the game to Allen County Community College 51-66.

    PCC women's basketball fall on the road to Cowley College The Pratt Community College women’s basketball team finished up their last road game of the season against Cowley College on Feb. 25. The road was not kind to the Beavers as Cowley used a 43 percent shooting night to take the win 58-100.

    PCC women's basketball grinds out road win against Neosho Road wins are hard to come by, yet the Pratt Community College Women’s team went into Chanute, Kan. and came away with a hard fought victory over Neosho County Community College on Feb. 8. The Beavers controlled and held off the efforts of a persistent Neosho team taking the win, 78-67.

    PCC women's basketball falls to Coffeyville CC A third quarter burst by Coffeyville proved to be the downfall of the Pratt Community College women’s basketball team on Feb. 4. The Beavers went cold in the third while Coffeyville used the 20 points they scored in the quarter to take a 48-71 victory.

    PCC women's basketball falls to Hutchinson CC Early scoring woes plagued the Pratt Community College women’s basketball team giving Hutchinson Community College the opening they needed to secure a victory on Jan. 25. The Beavers offensive drought allowed Hutchinson to push forward and take the win 45-87.

    Late game cold streak ends PCC chances against Independence The Pratt Community College women’s basketball team clawed their way back in the fourth quarter against Independence Community College on Jan. 18. Fighting hard the Beavers chipped away at the Independence lead cutting the deficit to 10 points with 3:35 left in the game. PCC suddenly went cold from the field at that point and Independence was able to secure the win, 49-67.

    Sophomore pair secures win against Colby CC Sophomores Brianna Samilton and Megan Poole led the way for Pratt Community College women’s basketball (3-9; 2-6 KJCCC) against Colby Community College (3-9; 1-7 KJCCC). The pair combined for 32 points as the Beavers prevailed on the road against Colby, 54-41.

    Beavers defend the Dome against Neosho The Pratt Community College women’s basketball team defended the Beaver Dome on Dec. 3 against Neosho. The Beavers came out of the gate with strong offensive production and a stout zone to produce a lead that Neosho could not overcome. PCC defeated Neosho 74-65.

    PCC topped by Dodge City 71-76 In a back and forth game, Pratt Community College women’s basketball (1-5) was unable to get over the small Dodge City Community College (1-3) lead in the Beaver Dome. The Beavers fought hard, but Dodge City maintained a five point lead for the victory 71-76.

    PCC basketball teams hoop for canned food drive Last week the 2016-17 Pratt Community College men’s and women’s basketball season tipped off. In the Beaver Dome for the home openers, the Beavers played for more than wins and losses by partnering with the Pratt County Food bank for a canned food drive.

    Rematch spoiled by NOC-Tonkawa Pratt Community College women’s basketball was looking forward to their rematch against Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa in the Beaver Dome. Coming out of the locker room for the second half, NOC-Tonkawa put on a press that sparked a 30 point third quarter and spoiled the rematch for the Beavers. PCC (1-3) falls to NOC- Tonkawa (4-0).

    PCC women's basketball wins home opener against Hesston College Pratt Community College women’s basketball (1-1) got a win in their home opener, which was the first win in Coach Carey Phariss’ career as a head coach. The Blue and White defended the Beaver Dome against Hesston College (0-2) claiming the victory 82-55.

    PCC women's basketball drops season start to NOC-Tonkawa Pratt Community College women’s basketball started the 2016-17 on the road against Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa. Despite battling hard in the opener, the Beavers fell to NOC-Tonkawa 68-83.
