The Pratt Community College Men's Basketball team looked to bounce back, after a heartbreaking loss to Hutchinson, at an away game against Garden City Community College.
Pratt controlled the pace of the game just as they did in the previous game against Hutch. Pratt lead by as many as 7 in the first half, going into the half time with the upper hand. Garden fought back in the second half, forcing 6 lead changes between the two teams in the final 20 minutes. Pratt never trailed by more than 2 points in the second half, even after a late 9-2 run giving Garden the lead with less than 10 minutes to go. Pratt showed poise and kept their composure, fighting back to regain the lead and control of the game. Garden made a late run with a couple 3 pointers down the stretch, cutting Pratt's lead to 1. After making a free throw, Pratt had a 2-point lead, and Garden had the ball with a chance to tie or go ahead. As Garden attacked the basket and kicked to the wing, Pratt was able to make a big-time steal, sealing their victory 66-64
