Pratt Community College men's basketball returned to the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena for a KJCCC matchup against Butler Community College. The Beavers were defeated by the Grizzlies, 92-67
A low-scoring first half for PCC set an early deficit too great to overcome. The Beavers were outscored 51-26 in the first 20 minutes of action.
Pratt kept even with the Grizzlies during the latter half of the contest. The second period saw both teams score 41 points apiece. The 15-point margin of victory from Butler was achieved from their early work in the first half.
With a loss against the Grizzlies, PCC men's basketball now falls below the .500 mark for the first time this season. The Beavers currently stand with a record of 7-8.
Pratt men's basketball will look to turn the tables in their next conference contest when they take on Cloud County Community College at home on Jan. 12 beginning at 4 p.m.
