    Pratt Community College sophomore guard Jaylon Wilson has signed to continue his academic and athletic career. Wilson has signed to continue playing with NCAA Division I Longwood University.
  • AJ Banks Signs with the University of Wyoming

    Having completed his time at Pratt Community College, sophomore guard AJ Banks has signed to continue his academic and athletic career. Banks signed with NCAA Division I University of Wyoming beginning in the fall of 2018.
  • PCC winter sports student athletes named to KJCCC all-conference teams

    The Jayhawk Conference has announced the award winners for the 2017-18 winter sports. Several Pratt Community College student athletes were selected as some of the best athletes in the KJCCC.
  • PCC men's basketball season ends against Colby CC
    March 01, 2018
    Pratt Community College men’s basketball entered the post season with a KJCCC tournament road matchup against Colby Community College. The Beavers ran into a high scoring Colby team. Colby’s scoring created a lead that Pratt could not come back from. PCC’s season comes to an end as the Blue and White loses to Colby 82-103.
  • PCC and Allen County CC face off in a high scoring contest

    The Pratt Community College men’s basketball team wrapped up the 2017-18 regular season on the road in Iola, Kan. Taking on Allen County Community College saw the Beavers and Red Devils high powered offenses clash. In the end, Allen CCC gained the edge and the win. PCC falls to Allen CCC 104-122.
  • PCC men's basketball falls to Cowley CC

    The Pratt Community College men’s basketball faced another battle in the Beaver Dome on Sophomore Day. Pratt and Cowley clashed for control with the lead being highly contested between the two. Cowley managed to find a rhythm from the field late in the game to secure the lead and hang on for the win. PCC drops a tough one to Cowley 76-87.
  • PCC men's basketball falls to Barton CC
    February 22, 2018
    PCC men’s basketball returned to the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena for the first of the final two home games of the season. First up was a showdown with Barton CC. In a tightly contested matchup, the Beavers battled Barton from tip-off to final whistle. In the final minutes of the game, Barton gained the lead and used the free throw line to hold off Pratt. PCC falls to Barton 78-90.
  • PCC men's basketball faces road test at Butler CC

    Pratt Community College men’s basketball hit the road to face Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kan. The Beavers fell behind in the first half, but battled back to turn the game into a classic. Late into the game neither team could hold on to a lead for long. In the end, Butler gained a slight lead and held on for the win. PCC drops a nail biter to Butler 84-88.
  • PCC men's basketball defends the Dome against Garden City CC

    Pratt Community College men’s basketball defended the Dome against a much longer Garden City Community College team on Valentine’s Day. The Beaver took the lead late in the first half and never let up on their way to an 84-74 win.
  • Sean Flynn hired as head men's basketball coach

    Dr. Michael Calvert and Pratt Community College athletics are proud to announce the hiring of Sean Flynn as the new head men’s basketball coach. Flynn has coached the Beavers as the interim head coach since mid-November and looks to build on the foundation he has helped establish for the program.

    Pratt Community College men’s basketball traveled to Colby, Kan. to face Colby Community College. The Beavers struggled against the balanced offensive attack of Colby. PCC suffers a loss to Colby 81-95.
  • PCC men's basketball defeats Neosho CC

    The Pratt Community College men’s basketball team returned to the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena to host Neosho County Community College. The Beavers faced a tough test in a much longer, much taller Neosho team. Pratt gained the lead early in the second half and never looked back on the way to a 90-70 win.
  • PCC men's basketball drops close game to Coffeyville CC

    Pratt Community College men’s basketball hit the road for a game against Coffeyville Community College. The Beavers battled Coffeyville throughout the game. Pratt held a slim lead for most of the game. With under 10 minutes left to play, Coffeyville tied the game at 63-63. The teams battled for control, but Coffeyville gained an edge and held on for the win. PCC drops the game to Coffeyville 91-101.
  • PCC men's basketball wins thriller over Seward County CC

    Pratt Community College men’s basketball battled Seward County Community College to the wire in the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena. The Beavers gained a lead in the final minutes of the game. Pratt came up with late buckets and attacked the boards to come away with an 80-73 over Seward in an instant classic.
  • Second half comeback lifts PCC men's basketball over Cloud County CC
    January 28, 2018
    The Pratt Community College men’s basketball team returned to the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena for the first of back to back home games. The Beavers faced Cloud County Community College to start the back to back home stretch. Pratt found themselves in a scoring drought for much of the first half as Cloud held an eight point lead at the half. The Blue and White would not be denied and battled back to take the lead and the win in the second half. PCC defeats Cloud 97-84.
  • PCC men's basketball drops game against Hutchinson CC

    Pratt Community College men’s basketball hit the road for a game against Hutchinson Community College. The Beavers battled the Blue Dragons, but Hutchinson took advantage of several scoring runs to secure the win. PCC falls to Hutchinson CC 84-104.
  • PCC men's basketball falls on the road at Independence CC
    January 23, 2018
    The Pratt Community College men's basketball team hit the road to face Independence Community College in a game rescheduled due to weather. The Beavers mounted a comeback in the second half to cut into the Independence lead, but the comeback fell short as the Independence defense held on. PCC falls 59-65.
  • PCC picks up win against Dodge City CC

    The Pratt Community College men’s basketball team played host to Dodge City Community College in the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena on Jan. 20. The Beavers broke out in the first half to a double digit lead. Dodge City countered beginning the half with an 11 point run thanks to back-to-back-to-back three-pointers to tie the game at 40-40. Pratt and Dodge City battled for the rest of the half. In the last few minutes, the Blue and White managed to take the lead in route to an 80-70 PCC victory.
  • PCC basketball at Independence CC cancelled
    January 17, 2018
    Due to technical issues with the heating in the ICC Fieldhouse, tonights men's and women's basketball games at Independence Community College have been cancelled. The games have been rescheduled for Monday, January 22.
  • PCC men's basketball defends the Dome against Allen County
    January 15, 2018
    Pratt Community College men’s basketball came home after a two-game road stretch to face Allen County Community College on Jan. 13. The Beavers used a stifling defense to prevent Allen County from scoring and held the Red Devils to the lowest points against total Pratt has given up this season. PCC defends the Dome for a 92-67 win over Allen County.

    Pratt Community College men’s basketball traveled to Arkansas City, Kan. for a matchup against Cowley Community College. Bench scoring proved to be the difference as PCC falls to Cowley 84-97.
  • PCC men's basketball falls on the road to Barton CC

    Pratt Community College men’s basketball battled Barton Community College in Great Bend, Kan. The Beavers and the Cougars clashed in a tightly contested game that saw neither team gain an edge. Barton broke through the deadlock with a late run to take the win. PCC loses to Barton 79-107.
  • PCC men's basketball battles Butler CC
    January 04, 2018
    Pratt Community College men’s basketball tipped of the New Year by hosting Butler Community College in the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena on Jan. 3. High scoring offense was showcased by both teams as the Beavers battled Butler in the Beaver Dome. In the end, it was Butler who came away with the win. PCC falls 107-128.
  • PCC men's basketball closes out 2017 with road win against Garden City CC
    December 11, 2017
    Pratt Community College ended 2017 with a road game against Garden City Community College. The Beavers and Broncbusters battled in a back and forth contest that saw 10 ties and seven lead changes. In the end it was a layup by AJ Banks that gave the Blue and White the edge they needed in the final seconds of the game. PCC takes the thrilling road win 93-92.
  • PCC men's basketball defends the Dome against Colby CC

    Pratt Community College men’s basketball defended the Dome against Colby Community College on Dec. 6. The Beavers came out from the tip with a high tempo offense that secured an early lead. Colby cut into the lead to put pressure on Pratt in the final minutes of the game. The defense for the Blue and White stepped up in the end forcing turnovers and battling for rebounds against a tall and long Colby squad. PCC gets the win 108-100.
  • PCC men's and women's basketball help serve at Pratt Thanksgiving Dinner

    The Pratt Community College men’s and women’s basketball teams spent their Thanksgiving morning serving meals to the Pratt community. Hosted at the Municipal Building in downtown Pratt, the annual Thanksgiving Day dinner was a great opportunity for the players and coaches to interact with the community.

    Pratt Community College men’s basketball hit the road for a matchup against Neosho Community College. The Beavers fought and traded points with Neosho for the first half. In the second half, Neosho used two scoring runs to gain a lead and secure the win. PCC loses to Neosho 91-102.
  • PCC men's basketball faces Coffeyville CC
    November 30, 2017
    Pratt Community College men's basketball clashed with Coffeyville Community College in the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena. The Beavers used a gritty defense against Coffeyville to climb out of an early deficit. Coffeyville managed to regain the lead and used the free throw line to keep the Pratt comeback at bay. PCC loses 91-97. 
  • PCC men's basketball battles Seward CC
    November 27, 2017
    The Pratt Community College men’s basketball team wrapped up a two game road stretch against Seward County Community College. The Beavers fell behind early, but battled back to take the lead midway through the second half. A scoring drought by Pratt late in the game gave Seward the edge they needed to take the win. PCC loses to Seward 62-80.
  • PCC men's basketball gets first conference win against Cloud CC
    November 22, 2017
    Pratt Community College men’s basketball used the hot shooting hand of James Brooks to get their first conference win of the season against Cloud County Community College. After a back and forth first half, the Beavers used Cloud’s second half scoring drought to regain the lead and secure the win. PCC defeats Cloud 103-86. Pratt improves to 4-4 on the season and 1-3 in the KJCCC.
