  • PCC men's basketball closes out 2017 with road win against Garden City CC
    December 11, 2017
    Pratt Community College ended 2017 with a road game against Garden City Community College. The Beavers and Broncbusters battled in a back and forth contest that saw 10 ties and seven lead changes. In the end it was a layup by AJ Banks that gave the Blue and White the edge they needed in the final seconds of the game. PCC takes the thrilling road win 93-92.
  • PCC men's basketball defends the Dome against Colby CC

    Pratt Community College men’s basketball defended the Dome against Colby Community College on Dec. 6. The Beavers came out from the tip with a high tempo offense that secured an early lead. Colby cut into the lead to put pressure on Pratt in the final minutes of the game. The defense for the Blue and White stepped up in the end forcing turnovers and battling for rebounds against a tall and long Colby squad. PCC gets the win 108-100.
  • PCC men's and women's basketball help serve at Pratt Thanksgiving Dinner

    The Pratt Community College men’s and women’s basketball teams spent their Thanksgiving morning serving meals to the Pratt community. Hosted at the Municipal Building in downtown Pratt, the annual Thanksgiving Day dinner was a great opportunity for the players and coaches to interact with the community.
  • PCC men's basketball falls on the road to Neosho CC
    December 04, 2017
    Pratt Community College men’s basketball hit the road for a matchup against Neosho Community College. The Beavers fought and traded points with Neosho for the first half. In the second half, Neosho used two scoring runs to gain a lead and secure the win. PCC loses to Neosho 91-102.
  • PCC men's basketball faces Coffeyville CC
    November 30, 2017
    Pratt Community College men's basketball clashed with Coffeyville Community College in the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena. The Beavers used a gritty defense against Coffeyville to climb out of an early deficit. Coffeyville managed to regain the lead and used the free throw line to keep the Pratt comeback at bay. PCC loses 91-97. 
  • PCC men's basketball battles Seward CC
    November 27, 2017
    The Pratt Community College men’s basketball team wrapped up a two game road stretch against Seward County Community College. The Beavers fell behind early, but battled back to take the lead midway through the second half. A scoring drought by Pratt late in the game gave Seward the edge they needed to take the win. PCC loses to Seward 62-80.
  • PCC men's basketball gets first conference win against Cloud CC
    November 22, 2017
    Pratt Community College men’s basketball used the hot shooting hand of James Brooks to get their first conference win of the season against Cloud County Community College. After a back and forth first half, the Beavers used Cloud’s second half scoring drought to regain the lead and secure the win. PCC defeats Cloud 103-86. Pratt improves to 4-4 on the season and 1-3 in the KJCCC.
  • PCC faces Hutchinson CC in White Out game
    November 20, 2017
    Pratt Community College men’s basketball hosted Hutchinson Community College in a White Out game from the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena. Both teams showcased high scoring offenses going against each other. The Beavers enjoyed a lead at the half, but Hutchinson focused on rebounding and second chance points to take the lead and come away with the win. PCC loses to Hutchinson 100-109.
  • PCC men's basketball falls on the road to Dodge City CC
    November 16, 2017
    Pratt Community College men’s basketball hit the road for the first conference road game of the season against Dodge City Community College. The Beavers led for much of the game, but Dodge City fought and clawed to keep the game close. Two perfect trips to the free throw line in the final 11 seconds of the game allowed Dodge City to escape with the win. PCC loses to Dodge City 97-100.
  • Max Good resigns as head men's basketball coach at PCC
    November 14, 2017
    Pratt Community College head men’s basketball coach, Max Good has offered his resignation effective immediately. Good is leaving PCC due to personal reasons. Assistant coach Sean Flynn has been promoted to interim head coach for the remainder of the 2017-18 season.
  • PCC men's basketball drops a heart breaker to Independence CC
    November 13, 2017
    Pratt Community College men’s basketball opened up Jayhawk Conference play against Independence Community College in the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena. The Beavers held the lead for much of the game, but the tenacious Independence team just would not go away. Using a pair of second half runs, Independence chipped away at the lead. Independence climbed back and took the lead with 18 seconds left in the game. A long three pointer by Pratt’s Dawson Gunter crashed off the front iron as the horn sounded to end the game. PCC drops a heartbreaker to Independence 93-94.
  • PCC men's basketball defends the Dome against Tabor JV
    November 09, 2017
    The Pratt Community College men’s basketball team returned to the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena for the final non-conference game of the season. Taking on Tabor College JV, the Beavers fell behind early thanks to Tabor JV being hot from beyond the three-point arch. Pratt stepped up the defensive pressure with traps to force turnovers and gain the lead before the half. The Beavers continued their stifling defense and using transition offense to secure the win. PCC gets the victory 111-85.
  • PCC men's basketball tips off the 2017-18 season against OKC Storm
    November 02, 2017
    The 2017-18 season tipped off for the Pratt Community College men’s basketball team against Oklahoma City Storm in the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena. The Beavers started the season strong showing an increased emphasis on defense and rebounding while carrying over an explosive, uptempo attack on offense. PCC wins against OKC Storm 108-69.
  • Late Night in the Lesh introduces the 2017-18 PCC winter sports teams

    The Pratt Community College athletics fans got their first look at the 2017-18 winter sports teams at Late Night in the Lesh following the PCC vs Dodge City CC volleyball match. It was a night of festivities to kick off the 2017-18 winter sports season.
