In the second half, Dodge City had the wind and used it to their advantage. The PCC defense held strong against the Dodge City attack. Martin Esquivel had six saves in the pipes for the Beavers.
In the 73rd minute, Joseph Vasquez broke the tie for Dodge City off of a free kick. Pratt played with emotion trying to find the equalizer late in the game, but the goaltending and defense of Dodge City held on for the win.
