Pratt Community College softball continued their weekend on the road with a double header against Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa. The Beavers lose both games of the double header, 4-5 and 2-7.
In game one, the Blue and White went into the seventh trailing 3-4. Makaila Martinez singled with one out. Marisa Jonas singled to center to move Martinez to second. Lyndsey Loomis hit a ground ball that was bobbled by the NOC shortstop to bring Martinez home to tie the game at four. NOC-Tonkawa countered with a run in the bottom of the seventh. PCC falls in walk off fashion 4-5.
The Beavers fell behind early in game two and could not pull off a rally against stout defense by NOC-Tonakwa. Tamarra Bryant did what she could to spark the offense for the Blue and White. She finished the game with three hits and two RBIs in three at bats.
PCC softball returns home on March 22 to take on Colby. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
