PCC baseball falls on the road to Colby CC

Pratt Community College baseball hit the road for a four game conference series against Barton on March 18. Hot hitting by Barton carried them throughout the series. PCC falls in the series 0-4.

Michael Davis and Reece Garvie led the Blue and White at the plate in game 1. Davis had two hits, three RBIs and a run in three at bats. He opened up the scoring for the Beavers with a two run home run in the fourth. Garvie finished the game with two hits, two RBIs and two runs in three at bats. Despite out hitting Colby six to five PCC falls 5-11.

In game two, Colby capitalized on two big innings to defeat the Beavers. Trace Maddux led PCC at the plate in the game with a hit, two RBIs and a run. PCC drops game two 5-15.

Garvie tried to spark the Blue and White in the third game of the series with three hits and a run in three at bats. Colby was hot from the plate as PCC loses 2-15.

Game four did not cool off the bats for Colby. Daniel Johnson produced from the plate for Pratt going two for two with an RBI and two runs. PCC drops game four 3-13. 

PCC baseball returns to Stanion Field on March 25 against conference foe Cloud Community College. First pitch in the four-game series is set for 1 p.m.
